Diversity In Yoga Scholarship Initiative 2020
Diversity in Yoga Scholarship Initiative
Yoga Teacher Training 2020
The yoga space has for too long been lacking in the diversity that we teach, and while we have always opened our doors to a rich tapestry of human beings from many backgrounds and cultures, we want to do more to broaden the scope and reach in our community .

We believe that yoga should be accessible to everyone, and want to do our part to increase diversity in our students, and in our teachers delivering yoga to our communities. Yoga communities often TALK about diversity and TALK about accountability, but like our friends at Dancing Dog Yoga in Atlanta, we want to DO more.  We want to amplify available Yoga learning opportunities for all people of color.

With this in mind, we are offering five full scholarships to our upcoming Advanced Online Yoga Teacher Certification program for BIPOC.

This training begins online on June 22, 2020 and is a fully certified Yoga Alliance approved program.

We want to spread the love of yoga by empowering people of color to share this gift with the world.

  • Applicants should identify as Black or Indigenous Person of color.

  • To apply, please fill out the application form on this page and write an essay on how yoga can be an agent of change in our communities and how yoga teacher training can amplify your voice and your practice.

  • Applications are due on June 15, 2020 by 5pm and scholarships will be announced on Friday June 19th.

This scholarship is open to any BIPOC in the United States. We want to help create more diversity, more understanding, more connection, more accessibility, and stand up for black lives. Our brothers and sisters deserve better.

Black Lives Matter.
